Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a treatment that utilizes a variety of techniques to restore, maintain and optimize an individual's mobility, strength and functional well-being. Techniques typically include a combination of manual therapy, progressive exercise and various modalities to facilitate rehabilitation and achieve maximal recovery.


Massage Therapy

RMT's are licensed professionals who can provide a variety of treatments to individuals with musculoskeletal needs. They perform therapeutic massage and can compliment that with education and a collaborative approach to care that may involve physiotherapy.


Chiropractic

Chiropractic is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Treatment may include chiropractic adjustments which encompasses joint and spine manipulations to help ease body pains, injuries and more.

Stacey Arbour became a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) after completing her studies at Kikkawa College in Toronto. She also holds an Honours degree in Kinesiology and Health Science, which she obtained from York University. In her spare time, you’ll most likely find her underwater; she’s an avid scuba diver and loves anything and everything that involves nature and being outdoors.

As a health and fitness advocate, Stacey adopts a holistic approach to health and wellness, and encourages her clients to do the same. With years of experience in the rehabilitative health and fitness industry, Stacey possesses an enriched, diverse understanding of the body and body processes. She utilizes this knowledge to tailor her treatments to meet the specific needs of her individual patients and enhance their recovery.

With experience treating an array of conditions at various stages of healing, spanning from soft tissue injury and chronic pain, to neurological conditions, such as Multiple Sclerosis and Cerebral Palsy, she specializes in therapeutic massage with a focus on Soft Tissue (STR) and myofascial manipulation. Her years of experience in the field has enhanced her competence in all styles of Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Sport Injury focused treatment, Postoperative Massage and Cupping Therapy.

Raised in Ancaster, Jenna is a life-long resident of the Hamilton area. In 2019 she completed her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University. At McMaster, Jenna was a Strength & Conditioning Coach to various varsity teams and made return to play protocols for injured varsity athletes during her fourth year Kinesiology placement. This is where she developed her passion for treating sports related injuries and providing movement-based therapy.

Jenna completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at D’Youville University and continued to refine her skills in movement & exercise rehabilitation with Division 2 varsity athletes, all while completing her doctorate course work. In practise, Jenna employs a variety of manual therapy skills such as Active Release Technique (ART), medical contemporary acupuncture, joint adjustments & mobilizations, atheletic taping, and exercise. She is passionate about treating the person as a whole by identifying dysfunctional movements in the kinetic chain to treat pain with movement disorders.

In her spare time, you will find Jenna in the gym lifting weights, or in the Dundas Valley Conservation Area hiking with her dog or mountain biking. Daniel is a physiotherapist registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, having completed his MSc(PT) at McMaster University following a BSc in Kinesiology at Queen’s University.

Prior to PT school, he spent 11 years as a strength & conditioning coach, working with recreational up to internationally competitive individuals of all ages in various 1-on-1 and group-based settings including varsity sport, gymnastics (trampoline), CrossFit, weightlifting (Olympic weightlifting & powerlifting), and personal training.

Daniel strongly believes in taking a patient-centered approach, utilizing a combination of the best available research and his professional experiences while strongly considering the contextual factors that are unique to each individual seeking care.

He believes that strength is for everyone, and that it is critical to optimize the resiliency of the human body such to best prepare for the activities that an individual may commit themselves to. Practicing what he preaches, Daniel is a national-level competitor in Olympic Weightlifting, with multiple Jr. national medals and provincial records to his name and is training to earn a spot on the Canadian National Team.

Leila is an honours graduate of Mohawk College and a member in good standing with the CMTO.

After working for many years in the leasing/financial industry in an office setting, the opportunity for a career change was presented, which led her on a new path. The idea of being in the health field was always in the back of her mind and when the opportunity arose, it was an easy decision.

Leila has experience working as an RMT in a clinic and in a spa setting. She loves being able to help her clients feel better, whether it is relaxation that is needed or treatment for a specifc issue. Registered Physiotherapist Owner/Co-Founder BAS, DP, CSCS, PT Colin grew up in Hamilton and has been practicing in the area since 2014 after receiving his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He teaches clinical skills for the Master of Physiotherapy program at McMaster University as a part-time faculty member. Lauren completed her undergraduate studies at McMaster University where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. From there she went to the Ontario College of Health and Technology to obtain her Registered Massage Therapy license. She is currently working towards her certification in acupuncture and cupping. Growing up she played very few sports, only because once she found one she liked, she stuck with it! She started Taekwondo, learning self-defense and discipline. Later on, she fell in love with rock climbing and still participates to this day. You can find her climbing at Mount Nemo of the Niagara Glen on beautiful sunny weekends! As with most athletes, she suffered her own injuries and went through rehab. With these injuries she had to take a step back from climbing, but during that time she fell in love with body building. Now, she is training to go on stage in 2022. Lauren is a firm believer that exercise plays a huge role in all physical rehab. Piera Rooke, Physiotherapy Resident MScPT, B.Sc (Hons) Piera graduated from Queen’s University with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, she completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology-Physiology at McMaster University. During her time at Queen’s, Piera worked with individuals across the lifespan, with placements in paediatrics, geriatrics, and everything in between! She also completed an Introduction to Spinal Manipulation course to widen her skillset. Piera’s physiotherapy approach includes manual therapy, exercise prescription, and client education. 


Piera trained for 10 years as a competitive artistic gymnast. She navigated multiple injuries during this time, but her positive experiences with physiotherapy motivated her to pursue a career where she could help support others throughout the rehabilitation process.
